We are happy to welcome new Danish client Nordjyske Museer to Tix!

Nordjyske Museer is the collected museum of 14 different venues and historical locations in the northern Jutland province of Denmark, ranging from viking settlements to a cold war underground bunker opening next year.

Here is what Helle Nørgaard, Head of Communications is saying about choosing Tix:

"In 2022 we will open our museum location number 14 in Northern Jutland – Cold War Museum REGAN Vest, that will become our largest attraction to date. TAQA Theater De Vest is a modern, welcoming theatre in the heart of the city of Alkmaar. In its comfortable theatre venues, a wide range of genres is offered every season. Additionally, TAQA Theater De Vest organizes several exciting, free festivals every year. 

The Grote Sint Laurenskerk is the largest and most popular monument of Alkmaar. The church is open and free to visit all summer. Furthermore, the church hosts multiple concerts and art exhibitions throughout the year.

The Royal Concertgebouw is a concert hall in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Dutch term "concertgebouw" translates into English as "concert building". With its exceptional acoustics and high-quality programming, The Royal Concertgebouw is truly one of the most exclusive concert halls in the world.

It was Bernard Haitink who once praised The Concertgebouw as the best instrument of the orchestra that it houses. That must have been what prominent Amsterdam residents had in mind when they decided in 1881 to gift the capital city with a majestic concert hall. Seven years later the swampy fields just outside the city limits boasted a wonder of neoclassic architecture, The Concertgebouw. 

With over 900 events (80% concerts) and over 700.000 visitors a year the Concertgebouw is one of the best visited concert halls of the world.

There are two famous concert halls within the Concertgebouw: the Main Hall (1974 seats) and the Recital Hall (437), as well as the recently opened Choir Hall (150 seats).

We are not only expanding into new markets but also growing our client base in our home countries!

Last Thursday we went live with Skövde Kulturhus in Sweden after 2 days of on-site implementation.

On the 1 February this year The Gothenburg Opera started using Tix for their ticket administration. Something that we at Tix are very happy about.  The Opera was built in 1994 and are situated near the docks in the heart of the Gothenburg city centre. Being one of the biggest culture institutions in the Nordic countries and sells 300.000 tickets/year to musicals, ballet and opera performances.

It has been in many ways a special implementation which such a big client during a time when almost no tickets are being sold or any event are being held.

The biggest task which we at Tix also are very excited about is the upcoming launch of the Operas own developed purchase flow. Their web agency have used Tix POS API to develop a tailor made online experience for ticket sales and customer interaction. As soon as the world allow us to plan for events again you will all have the possibility too see for you self.

Welcome to Tix: Luxor Theater - we are so thankful for the opportunity to work with you and look forward to our cooperation!

Luxor Theater in Rotterdam is one of the biggest theatres in the Netherlands with two unique auditoriums: the new Luxor Theatre (over 1.500 seats) on the 'Kop van Zuid' and the old Luxor Theatre (over 900 seats) on the Kruiskade in the city centre. Both offer accessible shows in the musical, cabaret, dance, opera, concerts, drama and youth genre.

We were curious about why Luxor Theater chose us and here is what they said:
